Freesia Bangphi Guest House

Rooms at Freesia Bangphi Guest House come with a queen bed, double beds or a king bed, depending on the room. Rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, and an in-room safe box.

The Superior Room and the Promotion Room both measure 20 m² and sleep two guests. The Garden View Room and the Budget Double Room also measure 20 m² and sleep up to three guests. Children aged 1 to 6 can stay free of charge when they use the existing bedding.

Bangna-Trad Road runs through a more suburban part of Bangkok, well away from the historic core and much closer to Suvarnabhumi Airport. Guests who want a night near the airport rather than the sights of the old city will find the area practical, and the guesthouse sits on the road itself. Taxis are the simplest way to cover the short hops from the guesthouse to the places nearby, and the airport is close enough to make this area a short trip from the arrivals hall.

Around the guesthouse are small local temples and villages, such as Wat Bang Chalong Nai, a pagoda about 1.1 km away, and the Nong Ngu Hao Snake Farm, a well-known snake farm roughly 600 m off. The Suan Suk Jai park, a green space for an outing, is about 6.6 km away. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 7.8 km away, and Suvarnabhumi Station on the Airport Rail Link is about 8 km away, so the rail line is an option for travelling into the city.

A day could start at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest markets and open at weekends, and end in the old city. Inside the Grand Palace complex stands the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Kaew, and Khaosan Road, the backpacker street near Wat Arun, makes a lively evening stop. Wat Arun itself stands on the bank of the Chao Phraya river and is one of the city's best-known temples.
