Field.D house

Every room at Field.D house has a private bathroom with a shower, a hair dryer, an electric kettle, toiletries and satellite or cable channels. Most rooms have air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Some rooms overlook the garden and others the mountains, with king beds in most rooms and a room with two single beds.

Room sizes start at 30 m². The 55 m² King Room with Spa Bath has a bathtub, bathrobes and a mirror, and the 60 m² family room accommodates up to five guests. Children aged 2 to 12 can stay for free on existing bedding.

The property has an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace, and parking on site is free, with valet parking also available. Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, and internet services and Wi-Fi in public areas are available too.

Breakfast is offered as a buffet or as a continental breakfast. The property is smoke-free, with non-smoking rooms available, and it also has a kitchen. Family room accommodation is also available.

The garden and the terrace give guests an open-air space outside the rooms, and the outdoor swimming pool is in the same grounds. Luggage storage is available, air conditioning covers the public areas, and daily housekeeping is provided in the rooms.

Field.D house is in Mae Haad, the village around the island's main ferry pier, where boats from the mainland and from Koh Samui arrive. The area is busy during the day, with dive operators, small shops and restaurants along the roads, and it is where many visitors first step onto Ko Tao. The island is known for diving and snorkelling, and it has no airport, so the journey ends by boat.

The beach is 330 m from the property, and Sairee Beach, the island's best-known stretch of sand, is 850 m away, with Jansom Bay 1.1 km away. Haad Ao Mae, the beach near the pier, is another stretch of sand close to the village. The Koh Tao Turtle Monument is 100 m away, a turtle-themed landmark close to the property, and the Love Koh Tao viewpoint is nearby, looking out over the bays. The Rama V Shrine, dedicated to King Chulalongkorn, is also nearby.

A day here usually combines a swim or a snorkel at one of the bays with a dive or a boat trip from the pier, which is 400 m from the property. In the evening, the streets around the pier and Sairee Beach fill with street-food stalls, bars and restaurants.
