Air conditioning is in the rooms, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The hostel offers dormitory beds, with single or bunk beds, as well as single rooms, double rooms and a family room that sleeps up to four guests on two bunk beds.

Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, a street view or a country view, and a few include a full kitchen. A desk is in several rooms, the family room has a sofa and board games, and shared bathrooms with showers serve several rooms. Several rooms are set up for one guest, including a single room without a window, and others sleep two guests.

Guests share a lounge and TV area with a large flat-screen TV, and a shared kitchen is available for cooking. The lounge has comfortable seating, and guests can gather there with other travellers. The hostel also offers a laundry service, daily housekeeping, lockers and luggage storage, and 24-hour security.

Thonburi is the area on the west bank of the Chao Phraya, facing Bangkok's old city across the river and known for its canals, temples and riverside piers. The hostel sits in the Somdejprapinklao area, close to the Bangkok Noi Canal, in a neighbourhood of local streets, markets and museums.

The Royal Barges National Museum is 850 m away, and Phra Pin Klao Pier is 1 km away on the river. Bang Yi Khan MRT station, 900 m away, is the nearest metro stop, and Thonburi Station is also nearby for trains. Khaosan Road, 1.9 km away, is the backpacker street with street food and bars, and across the river the Grand Palace is 2.3 km away. Wat Arun, with its tall tower, stands on the Thonburi bank. For flights, Don Mueang International Airport is the nearest airport, with Suvarnabhumi Airport further out.

A good way to spend a day is to start at the Royal Barges National Museum, cross the river to the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which sits inside its grounds, and finish with an evening on Khaosan Road. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is the main sight of the old city, and Wat Arun stands on the same riverbank as the hostel.
