Fasai House

Rooms at Fasai House can be fitted with air conditioning, a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator. The Standard Room, 20 m² with a double bed, sleeps up to two guests and has a pool view.

Rooms can also have a mirror, toiletries, a shower, satellite and cable channels and free bottled water, with a refrigerator for drinks. Each room has its own private bathroom, and the double bed suits a couple or two travellers sharing the room.

Fasai House has two swimming pools, an outdoor one and an indoor one, plus a garden and a library. Dining options include a restaurant, a coffee shop, a poolside bar and room service, and food delivery and a kitchen are also offered.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and there is Wi-Fi in public areas too. Free parking on site is available, with bicycle parking as well. For getting around, there is an airport transfer, a shuttle service, car hire and a taxi service, and tours are offered. Diving, snorkelling, canoeing, fishing and windsurfing are also offered, and luggage storage, laundry service and dry cleaning are available. The library offers books ranging from novels to travel guides, and the garden is a green place to sit.

Khao Lak is a resort area on the Andaman coast of Phangnga province, where guesthouses and small hotels sit between the road and a long sandy beach. Fasai House is in the Nang Tong Beach area, and the sea is a short walk from the hotel, so the beach is easy to reach on foot. Small shops and pharmacies are within a few hundred metres of the hotel.

The main attraction inland is Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park, a forested reserve with trails, and Ton Chong Fa Waterfall, 3.8 km from the hotel, is a popular stop nearby. The Tsunami Memorial, 850 m away, is a reminder of the 2004 tsunami that struck this coast. The Similan National Park is an island group offshore, reached by boat from the mainland. Phuket International Airport is 60 km away, and an airport transfer is offered.

A good day could start with a walk in the national park, then a visit to a waterfall and an afternoon back on the beach. Those who want to see the sea further out can take a boat from the mainland to the Similan Islands. In the evening, the hotel's bar and garden are close at hand to finish the day.
