El biografo hostel offers dormitory rooms from 14 to 24 m², in mixed and female-only rooms, and a private room of 20 m² with a queen bed for two guests. Several dormitory rooms share a bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms.

The dormitory rooms take one to three guests, depending on the room, and several of them have air conditioning and a balcony or terrace. El biografo hostel is on Soi Anuman Rajdhon in Silom, the business and nightlife district of central Bangkok. The area mixes glass office towers with shophouses, street-food stalls and quieter lanes off the main road, and it stays busy from the morning into the evening. Those who want to be in the middle of the city, close to the rail network and the nightlife, will find the district convenient for getting around.

Chong Nonsi station is 550 m away on the Silom Line, and a short ride on it reaches Siam, where the large shopping centres are. Chong Nonsi Canal Park is a green space beside the water, and Sri Mahamariamman Temple, a colourful Hindu temple on a nearby street, is known for its decorated gateway tower. Jim Thompson House, once home to the American silk entrepreneur, is a traditional Thai house museum, while the Grand Palace is 4.5 km away in the old city.

A good day could begin with a walk through the canal park and the Hindu temple, followed by the BTS to Siam for shopping and lunch, then a visit to Jim Thompson House. In the evening, Patpong and its night market are nearby, and the next day can be given to the riverside temple of Wat Arun and the Grand Palace.
