Ease@Sathorn Hostel and Co-working Space

The rooms at Ease@Sathorn Hostel and Co-working Space come in two kinds: bunk-bed dormitories, including a male room, a female room and a mixed four-bed room, and rooms with a queen bed. Some rooms have a private bathroom while others share one, and some look out over the city, the street or a courtyard.

Air conditioning is fitted in the male dormitory room, the mixed dormitory and the female room with a courtyard view, and the female room also has a full kitchen and a kitchenette. The queen rooms have one queen bed each, and the dormitory rooms have bunk beds, with up to four guests in the mixed room.

Services at Ease@Sathorn Hostel and Co-working Space include a 24-hour front desk, a concierge, luggage storage and lockers, plus express check-in and check-out. Tours can be arranged, and there is an airport transfer, a laundry service and a laundromat nearby.

For food, there is a shared kitchen, a snack bar and food delivery, and there is also a convenience store. Some rooms have kitchenware, a microwave, a refrigerator and a washing machine.

Guests can also use the fitness centre, the rooftop area and the shared lounge with its large TV screen. The 24-hour front desk, luggage storage and lockers are all on site, and express check-in and check-out are offered.

Sathorn is one of Bangkok's main business districts, a mix of office towers, canals and street-food stalls on the east bank of the Chao Phraya River. The hostel sits on a soi off the main road, and the Silom business district, with its office towers and busy lunchtime crowds, is a short Skytrain ride away.

The Saint Louis BTS station is 600 m away and Surasak BTS Station 800 m, so the Skytrain is the simplest way to reach the rest of the city. Nearby are Chong Nonsi Canal Park, Pung Tao Kong Shrine and Saint Louis Catholic Church, and Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre, is a few Skytrain stops away at 3.5 km from the hostel.

A good day starts with the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, 5.5 km away, and continues with Wat Arun across the river. The old city and its temples are a longer trip across the river, and Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside night market and shopping complex, is a good choice for the evening. Chatuchak Weekend Market is best visited on a weekend, when its stalls are fully open, and it is a full day out from the hostel.
