Ease Hostel

Ease Hostel's rooms are a mix of shared dormitories and small private rooms. Several dormitory rooms measure 18 m², and the two private rooms measure 8 m² each. Rooms at the hostel can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, linens, towels and a hair dryer, depending on the room.

Some rooms share a bathroom with a shower and toiletries, while others have their own private entrance, and air conditioning is one of the features found across the rooms. Towels and linens are among the equipment rooms can have, and the 24-hour front desk is staffed around the clock for guests at the hostel.

The hostel has a 24-hour front desk, a shared lounge and TV area, a game room, lockers and luggage storage, and daily housekeeping. Staff speak English, Mandarin Chinese and Thai, and private check-in and check-out are offered, so arriving guests can be dealt with away from the common areas.

There is a convenience store and cash withdrawal on site, and the public areas have air conditioning. The on-site car park is free of charge, and Wi-Fi is available in public areas as well as in all rooms. Rooms can also have a clothes rack and ironing facilities, and the shared lounge and TV area is open to all guests in the hostel.

Ease Hostel is on Phahonyothin Road in Chatuchak, a Bangkok district of wide roads, parks and everyday neighbourhoods, rather than the old-city temples and palaces, which are further away. Public parks and local streets are close by, and Phahonyothin Road is one of the main roads through the district.

The Phahon Yothin MRT station is 500 m from the hostel, a direct link to the rest of the city. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's best-known markets, is 1.6 km away and is busiest at weekends. Chatuchak Park, Saint John's Church and the Bangkok Butterfly Garden and Insectarium are all within a few hundred metres. Don Mueang International Airport is 12.5 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 24.6 km away, and the metro and buses cover much of the city from this part of Chatuchak, where the streets around the hostel have a steady neighbourhood feel during the day.

A good day could start at the weekend market in the morning, continue with a walk in Chatuchak Park, and end with the royal palace complex of the Grand Palace, 9.9 km away, reached by public transport or taxi. The airports are longer journeys, so allow time for the trip from Don Mueang or Suvarnabhumi.
