Every room at dusitD2 Samyan Bangkok has a city view. The rooms measure from 28 m² to 112 m², and one suite sleeps up to six guests. Beds range from king beds and pairs of single beds to a choice of bed set-ups in the Presidential Suite.

Some rooms have a private bathroom with a bathtub, while others have an adapted bath with a bathtub grab bar. Sam Yan MRT Station is 800 m away, and Si Phraya Pier, a ferry pier on the Chao Phraya River, is 1.1 km away. Jim Thompson House, a museum house of Thai silk and art, is 2.1 km away. Wat Arun, the riverside temple with a tall, tiered spire, is 3.9 km away, and The Grand Palace is 4 km away.

A day could start with a boat trip along the river towards the temples, and end back at the hostel's outdoor swimming pool. Khaosan Road, the well-known backpacker street, is in the same part of the old city as the Grand Palace. After a day out, the pool, the restaurants and the bar are all at the hostel itself.
