The Rajabhat Phranakhon MRT Station is about 550 m from the guesthouse, and a BTS station is also close by, which links the area with other parts of the city by train. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, a large market for clothing, crafts and food, is 10.3 km away and open at weekends. The Grand Palace, on the bank of the Chao Phraya river, is 18.4 km away, and Wat Arun stands nearby on the same riverside, within the old city's historic core.

A full day could start at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, then head into the old city, where the Grand Palace and Wat Arun stand on the bank of the Chao Phraya river. Khaosan Road, the backpacker street, is in the same part of town, so the day can end there with street food and a walk along the old city's lanes before returning to the guesthouse by taxi or train.
