D-hub Hostel

Accommodation at D-hub Hostel combines dormitory beds with private rooms. Bunk beds are set up in a female dormitory and in mixed dormitories, where guests share a bathroom, while the private rooms offer a double bed, a queen bed, a queen bed with a single bed for up to three adults, or two single beds for two guests. Some of the private rooms have their own bathroom.

Several rooms have individual air conditioning, and some have a street view. The Triple room has a TV, and free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, so guests in the dormitories and in the private rooms can stay connected alike.

Guests have a 24-hour front desk and 24-hour security, along with daily housekeeping, luggage storage and lockers for their belongings. The shared lounge and TV area is part of the common space, and the staff speak English and Thai.

The garden is one of the hostel's outdoor features, and a snack bar is available, with food delivery also offered. Non-smoking rooms are part of the hostel's offer, and there is a Xerox and fax service in the business centre.

Free parking nearby is available for guests, and the hostel offers internet services along with WiFi in public areas. Air conditioning is also in the public areas, including the shared lounge and TV area.

Donmuang is a district in north Bangkok best known for Don Mueang International Airport, the city's older airport, and D-hub Hostel sits on Song prabha Road among the neighbourhood's everyday streets. The area mixes temples, small shops and local life, and it has a quieter feel than the riverside districts of the old city, which are a longer trip away.

Don Mueang International Airport is 1.3 km from the hostel, and Don Muang Railway Station is 500 m away. Don Mueang SRT Station is 1 km away, so the area has two stations. Wat Don Muang, a temple with a pagoda, is close by, while the Sethasiri Backyard garden and the Royal Thai Air Force Museum, with its aircraft displays, lie a little further out in the surrounding streets.

A good half-day could start at the Royal Thai Air Force Museum, continue to the Sethasiri Backyard for a quiet walk among the trees, and end at the Open Air Night Market in the evening. For the bigger sights, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 14.9 km away and the Grand Palace is 22.6 km away in the old city, and for those trips a taxi is the simplest way to travel.
