Cooper Hostel

The rooms at Cooper Hostel include single, double and bunk-bed rooms, with a choice of private or shared bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and rooms can have air conditioning, linens, toiletries, a hair dryer and a shower. Solo travellers can book a single room, while two people can share one of the double rooms.

The Double Room with Private Bathroom has a queen bed and measures 15 m². The Room with Bunk Beds sleeps up to two guests. Some rooms sleep up to three guests, and shared-bathroom and private-bathroom rooms are both offered, so guests can choose the setup that fits their trip.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the hostel has a garden, a shared kitchen, restaurants and food delivery. Guests can also use luggage storage, lockers, laundry and dry cleaning services, and currency exchange is available. A continental breakfast is offered as well, and guests can use the shared kitchen to prepare their own meals, and food delivery is also available.

Cooper Hostel sits on Pan Road in Silom, which falls within Bang Rak District, one of Bangkok's busiest central districts, where office towers, street-food stalls and older shophouses stand side by side. Public transport is close, with Saint Louis BTS Station about 450 m away and Surasak BTS Station nearby on the same line. The area works well for anyone who wants to walk to the river, to the temples and to the evening markets, and the Silom streets are lined with shops and food stalls.

Several sights are close by. Sri Mahamariamman Temple is about 100 m from the hostel, a Hindu temple set among the Silom streets. The Bangkokian Museum occupies a historic house, the Patpong Museum is a short distance further, and Sathon Pier, about 1.2 km away, is a stop on the Chao Phraya river boats.

A good day starts with the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, both reached by river boat or taxi, and can end at Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and night market complex. Combining temple visits with an evening on the river makes a full day. For a longer shopping trip, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 8.9 km away, a large weekend market for clothes, food and crafts.
