Clay Beach Samui

The villas at Clay Beach Samui differ in their details. The Villa - Beach Front has a sea view and a bathtub, and sleeps up to 13 guests. Clay Beach Villa 1 sleeps up to 15 guests, and Clay Beach Villa 2 has a beach view and sleeps up to five.

The atmosphere is laid-back and village-like, a quieter setting than the busier beaches of Chaweng. Bo Phut Beach is 50 m from the property, and Mae Nam Beach is a short distance away. Walking to the beach and to the village is possible from the property, since the distances are short.

Fisherman's Village, 1.8 km away, is a walking street of shops and cafés set in the old village, and the Bo Phut Food Market is a short distance from it. Big Buddha, 4.6 km away, is a temple complex built around a large seated Buddha statue. Na Muang Waterfall, 11.1 km away, is an inland waterfall in the island's hills, a different landscape from the coast.

A good day could start with a swim at Bo Phut Beach, followed by a walk through Fisherman's Village and a visit to Big Buddha in the afternoon. Boat charters for trips along the coast are available from the Samui Boat Charter Service nearby. Taxis and scooters are the usual way to reach the sights further inland, so plan the trip to Na Muang Waterfall as a separate outing.
