Chang Siam Inn

Several rooms at Chang Siam Inn measure 22 m² or 17 m², and they come with a choice of bed set-ups. Some rooms sleep up to five guests, and one of the Superior rooms has a city view.

Rooms with a private bathroom come with a shower, toiletries, towels, a hair dryer and an electric kettle. Some also have a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator or an in-room safe box.

It is a busy part of the city, with shops, street-food stalls and office buildings along the main roads, and it is a practical choice for shopping trips and for travellers using the rail links. Its streets are lined with hotels and offices, and the rail station makes the airport easy to reach.

The closest landmark is Makkasan Train Station, 200 m away, where the Airport Rail Link runs towards the airport. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre, is 1.4 km away. Further out, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 5.2 km away, while the Grand Palace is 6 km away and Wat Arun, the riverside temple with its tall central tower, is 6.3 km away.

A full day could start at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, which is busy at weekends, and continue with the shopping malls around Siam in the afternoon. For the old city, a river trip to the Grand Palace and Wat Arun makes a good half-day out. Jim Thompson House, a museum of traditional Thai houses, offers a quieter stop between the markets and the malls, and it is set among traditional houses and gardens.
