Cape Azure Resort Samui by Thalsea is in the Plai Laem area of Bo Phut on Koh Samui, where oceanfront pool villas stand between the sea and the island's inland hills. It suits a stay built around the pool and the sea, with the busier beaches further along the island.

Na Muang Waterfall, 2.2 km away, is a waterfall in the hills inland from the coast, and Secret Buddha Garden, 1.2 km away, is a garden filled with Buddha statues and sculptures. Paradise Park Farm, 750 m from the villas, is a farm park with animals. Lamai Beach, 7 km away, is a busy beach lined with bars and restaurants, and the Big Buddha, 11.9 km away, is a large statue on a hilltop.

Car hire is offered at the property, a practical option for the longer trips to Lamai Beach and the Big Buddha, and Central Festival Samui is the island's big shopping centre, with a wide range of shops and restaurants. Snorkelling, diving and water sports are offered for those who want to spend time on the water. A full day could begin at the Secret Buddha Garden and the waterfall, then continue at the farm park before an afternoon by the pool at the villas.
