Local markets such as Mali Market and Ruamjai Fresh Market are a short ride away, useful for food and everyday shopping. For onward travel, the Chaeng Watthana - Pak Kret 28 MRT station is about 800 m from the hotel, and Don Mueang International Airport is 7.7 km away.

A day could start at the markets and temples around Pak Kret, then head into central Bangkok to see the Grand Palace, Wat Arun on the Chao Phraya, and the Asiatique riverfront in the evening. The trip is longer than from a central base, so allow time for the journey, especially at weekends, when the Chatuchak Weekend Market draws large crowds.
