Bed Space Hostel @Khaosan

Most rooms at Bed Space Hostel @Khaosan are dormitories, and some of them are furnished with bunk beds. Several rooms have air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Some rooms sleep one guest, others up to two or three, and bathrooms are private in some rooms and shared in others. Non-smoking rooms are available, and guests can also use the luggage storage and the laundromat.

Guests can use luggage storage, a laundromat and a shared kitchen, and there is 24-hour security on site. Tours can be arranged, and private check-in and check-out are offered.

Bed Space Hostel @Khaosan is on 83 Road in Prachathipatai, in the Khaosan area of Banglamphu, the historic district of Bangkok's old city. The streets around it are lively, with street-food stalls, bars and guesthouses along Khaosan Road, which keeps the area busy into the evening. Much of the old quarter's historic core is within walking distance of the hostel, so many of the city's older sights can be reached on foot.

Within a short walk are several temples and museums, among them Wat Makut Kasattriyaram Ratchaworawihan and the Bank of Thailand Museum. The Grand Palace is 1.9 km away, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) sits inside the same palace grounds. Wat Arun lies on the other bank of the Chao Phraya river, reached by crossing the water, while Chatuchak Weekend Market, 6.3 km away, is a large market held at weekends. Sam Yot MRT station is close by for the metro.

A day could start with the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, cross the river to Wat Arun in the afternoon, and end with street food on Khaosan Road in the evening. Several of the museums in the area are within a short walk of one another, so the day can be spent on foot.
