Bed Box Khoasan Hostel

Accommodation at Bed Box Khoasan Hostel goes from mixed dormitories with bunk beds to triple and double rooms, plus a 36 m² family room for up to ten guests. Several rooms have air conditioning, a triple room has a city view, and several rooms have shared bathrooms.

Khaosan is the lively part of Banglamphu, the old district of Bangkok next to the historic temples and palaces of Rattanakosin. Bed Box Khoasan Hostel is on Soi Kraisi Talardyord, 250 m from Khaosan Road, a street of guesthouses, street food stalls and bars that stay busy late into the evening.

The Grand Palace is 1.4 km away, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) stands within its grounds. Wat Pho, with its giant reclining Buddha, and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya River, lie in the same part of the old city. Closer to the hostel, the Chao Por Khao Tok Shrine is very close by, and the Bangkok National Museum is nearby as well. For trips beyond the old city, the Wang Burapha train link (1.5 km) and the Sam Yot MRT station (1.6 km) are the closest connections, and both airports are a longer drive away.

A good first day starts at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, then continues to Wat Pho and across the river to Wat Arun by boat. Back in Khaosan, the street food stalls and bars of Khaosan Road make an easy end to the day, and the streets remain lively after dark.
