BEAT. Warii Hostel @ Chaophraya River

The hostel has private rooms with queen beds, a family room for six guests with a private bathroom, and capsules and bunk beds in mixed and female-only dormitories. Some rooms overlook the river, and one faces the street. Several rooms have air conditioning.

Towels, toiletries and a hair dryer are provided in the rooms, and some rooms have blackout curtains and linens. Several capsules have a reading light and a socket near the bed. Shared bathrooms serve the capsules and dormitory beds, and several rooms have a private bathroom with a shower. Guests who want a bed in a shared room and guests who want a room to themselves both have options under one roof.

The common spaces include a shared lounge and TV area, a game room, a library and a yoga room. A terrace and a rooftop area are also available to guests, and free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, with WiFi in the public areas as well.

BEAT. Warii Hostel @ Chaophraya River sits in Yan Nawa, in the Sathon district near the Chaophraya River, an area of narrow alleys, shophouses and riverside piers. The hostel is away from the busiest tourist streets, but river boats and the old city are both close enough to visit in a single day, with the Chaophraya River just a short distance from the hostel's street.

Saphan Taksin BTS station is 500 m away, and Sathorn Pier is close by for river boats. Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and dining complex, is 1.5 km away, and the piers along this stretch are the usual way to cross to the temples on the far bank. Wat Arun is across the river at 4 km, and The Grand Palace is 4.5 km away, with Suvarnabhumi Airport 25.9 km away for flights.

A good day can start with a river boat to the temples: Wat Arun is across the river, while Wat Phra Chetuphon (Wat Pho) and the Grand Palace are in the old city. The day can end at Asiatique on the river in the evening. Khaosan Road and the Chatuchak Weekend Market are further out, and they are better left for a separate day trip.
