Bang Niang Afternoon Market is a short walk from the hotel, and the International Tsunami Museum is 450 m away. Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park, 4.7 km away, has forest trails and waterfalls, and Similan National Park, 10.5 km away, is reached by boat and known for its diving. Khao Lak is on the mainland, so no ferry is needed to reach the hotel, while the islands are reached by boat from the coast.

A good day could start with a walk along Bang Niang Beach, then a visit to the Tsunami Museum and the afternoon market. For a longer day, a boat trip to Similan National Park makes sense, though the park closes to visitors for part of the year during the rainy season.
