Bangyai Buri Resort

Bangyai Buri Resort offers rooms from a 15 m² Deluxe Room for up to three guests to a 30 m² Family Room that sleeps up to five. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, so guests can get online in any of them.

Extra beds depend on the room you choose, and an extra bed carries an additional charge. Children are welcome to stay at the resort.

The provincial capital sits on the Tapi River, and many travellers pass through it on their way to the islands of the Gulf, so the resort works well for a stay on the mainland before or after a boat trip.

Surat Thani Airport (URT) is 25.2 km away, and the resort offers an airport transfer. Nearby are several villages, including Ban Tha Phet, and the Monkey Training College theme park. The town's City Pillar Shrine, the public park and the Surat Thani Night Market are all about 6 km away, and the Surat Thani Railway Station is 15.8 km away.

A day could start at the City Pillar Shrine and the public park, continue to the Surat Thani Night Market in the evening, and end back at the resort's hot tub. For a longer excursion, Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya Worawihan, a historic temple with a large chedi in Chaiya, is 35.5 km away, and a ferry terminal for Koh Tao is about 6 km from the resort for those heading to the islands.
