Bangluang House

Rooms at Bangluang House measure from 30 m² to 65 m², and several of them have a river view. Beds range from queen and double to king, and one of the suites has a balcony or terrace. Some rooms include a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and a hair dryer.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, a seating area, a fan, a mini bar and a refrigerator, and some have a dining table or a coffee and tea maker. Some rooms include satellite and cable channels. Rooms sleep up to five guests, and extra beds depend on the room you choose.

Bangluang House offers an airport transfer, massage and salon services, dry cleaning and a laundry service, with daily housekeeping and express check-in and check-out. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and WiFi is also available in the public areas. The staff speak English, Lao and Thai, and the guesthouse has a gift shop, a salon and a massage service on the premises.

Bangkok Yai sits on the Thonburi side of the city, across the river from the historic core, and the lanes around Bangluang House run past canals, old temples and artists' houses. The Khlong Bang Luang canal has artists' houses and a floating market, and both are close to the guesthouse, so much of the neighbourhood can be seen on foot.

The Bang Phai MRT station is 850 m away and connects the area to the rest of the city by metro. Wat Bot Inthrasan Phet, a temple, is 350 m away, and Wat Arun, a riverside temple with a tall central spire, is 3.1 km away. The Grand Palace lies 3.6 km away across the river, and Don Mueang International Airport is 25.3 km away. Taxis and the metro are the usual ways to get around, and several ferry piers are nearby on the river.

A day could start on the canal with the floating market and the artists' houses, then continue by metro or taxi to the historic core, where the Grand Palace and its surrounding temples are. For big shopping, Siam Paragon is a longer trip into the central district. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is a longer trip out and makes a separate outing.
