Baan Suan Hill Resort

Accommodation at Baan Suan Hill Resort ranges from garden-view rooms to a mountain-view family room and a quadruple room. Choices include standard garden-view rooms, a superior double with a garden view and a family room with a mountain view. Each room measures between 30 and 50 m², and several of them have views over the resort's garden.

Depending on the room, you can expect air conditioning, a private bathroom with toiletries and towels, and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms also have a coffee or tea maker, a dining table and a socket near the bed, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The quadruple room sleeps up to six guests.

Quiet days in the countryside are the main draw here. The city of Surat Thani is farther off, and its shops and night markets are a longer trip away from the resort, so most of the day can be spent in the countryside around Ban Ta Khun.

Ratchaprapa Forest Park is 1.9 km away, and Ratchaprapha Dam is 3.2 km away, with its reservoir nearby. The Rajjaprabha Dam Golf Course is close to the dam for a round of golf, and Cheow Lan Lake, 4.8 km away, is a popular day trip from the area. Surat Thani Airport is the nearest airport, 38.5 km away, and the resort offers an airport transfer.

A good day could start in the forest park, continue to the dam and end at Cheow Lan Lake. The forest park and the dam make a natural pair for a half-day outing. For a longer day outdoors, Klong Phanom National Park offers a forest setting, and Ban Ta Khun Hospital is 8.7 km away for medical needs.
