Fisherman's Village, 2.8 km away, is a village with a walking street and a landmark of the Bophut area, and the Big Buddha, 3.6 km away, is a large seated statue on a hill. Wat Plai Laem, a temple with a large Guanyin statue, is also nearby.

A good day could start at the Big Buddha, continue with a wander through Fisherman's Village and end with a swim at Chaweng Yai Beach. The walking street of Fisherman's Village is a good place to end the evening, and the villa's own pool and garden make it easy to come back to the house between outings. Most of the sights on this list are within a few kilometres of the villa, so a day out needs little planning.
