Aura Hostel

Aura Hostel offers mixed and female dormitory rooms with bunk beds for up to 16 guests each, a Queen Room with two single beds for two guests, and smaller rooms with one bunk bed each. The dormitory rooms are air-conditioned and soundproofed, with blackout curtains, and their bathrooms are shared.

The Bed In rooms are for up to two guests each, in mixed-gender or female-only rooms. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The hostel provides free Wi-Fi in all rooms and in the public areas, and there is a coffee shop, a shared kitchen and room service. A continental breakfast with fruit is served every day.

Guests can use luggage storage, lockers and safety deposit boxes, and laundry, dry cleaning and ironing services are available. Daily housekeeping is provided, and the hostel has 24-hour security. Guests can also take advantage of dry cleaning and ironing, and the lounge and TV area are shared by everyone staying at the hostel.

Outdoors there is a sun terrace, and the lounge has an outdoor fireplace, with a shared lounge and TV area inside. Aura Hostel is adults-only, and the minimum age for guests is 18.

Aura Hostel is on Naret Road in Silom, the business district of central Bangkok, where office towers, bars and street stalls sit close together and the streets come alive after dark. The area is one of the busiest parts of the city, and the rail lines and the river are close to the hostel for getting around, with several temples and museums across the city.

The Sam Yan MRT station is 800 m away and the Chong Nonsi BTS station is 900 m, so the metro and skytrain are the easiest way to reach other parts of the city, and both stations are close to the hostel. Wat Arun, on the far bank of the Chao Phraya river, is 4 km away, and the Grand Palace in the old city is 4.1 km, while Jim Thompson House, a museum set in traditional Thai houses, is also close by.

For a day out, the old city around the Grand Palace and Wat Arun is the classic route, with Khaosan Road in Banglamphu as an option for the evening. Don Mueang airport is 22.2 km from the hostel and is the nearer of Bangkok's two airports, with Suvarnabhumi Airport a little further away.
