Assembly Hostel

Assembly Hostel offers dormitory beds in mixed rooms and private rooms that sleep up to four guests, with room sizes from 8 to 20 m². The mixed dormitory has eight bunk beds for up to nine guests, and a single bunk bed is also available in an 8-bed mixed dormitory room.

Some rooms have a shared bathroom, and rooms can have air conditioning, a hair dryer, a shower and a refrigerator. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Shared facilities at Assembly Hostel include a lounge with a TV area, luggage storage, lockers, a laundry service, bicycle rental, daily housekeeping and express check-in and check-out. There is also an airport transfer, and the languages spoken here are English and Thai.

For eating and drinking, the hostel has a bar, restaurant facilities, a shared kitchen and barbecue facilities. A garden adds an outdoor space, and a family room and facilities for disabled guests are available, along with Xerox and fax in the business centre.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a hair dryer, a shower, toiletries, a refrigerator, a clothes rack and a washing machine. Some of the rooms are non-smoking.

Assembly Hostel is in the Bangkok Riverside area, in the Bang Kho Laem district, near the Chao Phraya river. The riverside here has boat piers and the Asiatique complex, and the old city is a taxi or boat ride away. Boat piers along the river lead to the old city, and the skytrain gives access to central Bangkok. From the hostel, guests can reach both the old city and central Bangkok.

Asiatique - The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and dining complex with a large Ferris wheel, is 700 m away, and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is 4.6 km away. The Grand Palace lies 5.1 km away, with the royal temples around it, and Saphan Taksin BTS Station, 1.4 km from the hostel, gives access to the skytrain. Wat Worachanyawas Pier is also close, for riverboats along the Chao Phraya. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 26.1 km away, and Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the largest weekend markets in Bangkok, is further away and reached by public transport.

A good day could start with a riverboat from Wat Worachanyawas Pier, then go on to the Grand Palace and the temples of the old city, and end at Asiatique by the river. For a different pace, the skytrain from Saphan Taksin reaches the shopping centres of central Bangkok, including MBK Center and Siam Paragon.
