Artroom

The rooms at Artroom measure between 23 and 33 m² and sleep either two or three guests. Beds include king, queen, semi-double and single beds, and most rooms have a city view while one has a street view. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and some rooms also have a DVD/CD player and satellite or cable channels.

Air-conditioned rooms also have a flat-screen TV and a telephone, and private bathrooms include a shower, toiletries and towels. Both two-guest and three-guest rooms are available. Rooms can also include a desk, a refrigerator, a balcony or terrace, and free bottled water.

Artroom has daily housekeeping, a laundromat, 24-hour security and an elevator. Housekeeping is provided every day, English and Thai are spoken at the property, and free parking is available on site.

Artroom is in South Thonburi, on the western side of the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok. It is a residential part of the city, quieter than the central districts and further from the main tourist areas. Travelling into the historic centre takes longer than from the tourist districts, so the journey is best planned around the metro or a taxi.

The nearest metro is Phasi Charoen station, 1.7 km away, and Bang Khae and Phetkasem 48 stations are a little further. Wat Arun, the riverside temple known for its tall spire, is 7.6 km away, and the Grand Palace, the royal complex in Bangkok's old city, is 8.3 km. Asiatique The Riverfront, a shopping and dining complex on the river, is good for an evening out.

A day out often starts at the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, which are both along the river and can be visited in the same day. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the best-known markets in the city, is a longer trip across town. Don Mueang is the nearer of the two main airports, and Suvarnabhumi is Bangkok's main international airport. For a quieter day, the pagoda of Wat Noi Wisut Tharam is the closest temple to the hotel, while the larger sights need a longer trip.
