Ao Nang Backpacker

All rooms are air-conditioned. Ao Nang Backpacker offers a female-only dormitory measuring 25 m², with six single beds and three bunk beds, and a mixed dormitory of 80 m² with 15 bunk beds.

Most visitors come for the beaches and the evening atmosphere. Its streets fill up after dark with street-food stalls and small bars. The hostel sits among the town's guesthouses and shops, close to several pharmacies and a convenience store.

Ao Nang Beach, the main stretch of sand in the town, is 1.5 km away, and Phai Plong Beach, 1.8 km away, offers another stretch of coast a little further out. The Ao Nang Beach Pier, 1.6 km away, is where boats leave for Railay, whose limestone cliffs can only be reached by sea, and for the islands of Tup and Poda, which are also reached by boat. Boats are the main way to reach the islands and Railay, so the pier is the starting point for most day trips.

Krabi International Airport is 17.6 km away, and the property offers an airport transfer. A day out could combine a boat trip to the islands with a visit to Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hilltop temple 13.8 km away, before returning to the town for dinner.
