Amity Poshtel

Amity Poshtel offers 26 m² dormitory rooms with four single beds, which sleep one guest each, and private rooms with a double bed or two single beds, which sleep two. Other rooms sleep up to three or five guests.

Several rooms have air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Several private rooms have a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a flat-screen TV, while the 26 m² dormitory rooms share a bathroom.

Amity Poshtel has a 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping, lockers and luggage storage. A shuttle service, an airport transfer, a taxi service, car hire and bicycle rental are also offered. Lockers and luggage storage are available for guests with bags to keep safe during the day.

Amity Poshtel is in Krabi Town, the provincial capital on the Andaman coast of southern Thailand. It is a low-key town rather than a resort strip, suited to travellers who want a base in town and day trips to the beaches and islands. Krabi International Airport is 8.2 km away. Local shops, markets and temples fill the streets around the hostel, so there is plenty to see without leaving town.

The City Night Market, 250 m away, is where food and goods are sold in the evening, and it is a short walk from the hostel. The temple of Wat Kaew Korawaram is 300 m away, and the Andaman Art Museum is a short walk further on. Chaofa Pier, where boats leave for nearby islands, is also a short walk from the hostel. The pier and the museum are both close enough that the town is easy to explore on foot.

Railay Beach, a limestone-cliff peninsula reachable only by longtail boat, lies 10.3 km away and makes a full day out. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is 6.6 km away, a hilltop temple reached by a long stairway. Boat trips from the pier can be affected by rough seas, especially in the rainy months.
