Amazing House

The rooms at Amazing House include a double or twin room of 12 m² that sleeps up to two guests, with a fan and a shared bathroom, and a single room of 10 m² with a country view, a fan and a shared bathroom. A room assigned on arrival sleeps up to three guests.

The guesthouse stands on a soi off Samsen Road, a short walk from the restaurants and street-food stalls along Khao San Road.

Amazing House offers an airport transfer, laundry service and tours, and tours can be arranged for guests who want to see more of Bangkok.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and internet access is also offered. Parking is on site, so guests who come by car have a place to leave it at the guesthouse.

Amazing House sits in the Khao San area of Phra Nakhon district, in the old Banglamphu neighbourhood of Bangkok. Khao San Road is the best-known street here, a backpacker strip lined with guesthouses, bars and street-food stalls that stay busy into the evening. Away from the main lane, the surrounding streets keep more of the neighbourhood's old shophouses and small temples, and the mix of travellers and everyday Thai life gives the area its character.

Khao San Road is 600 m from the guesthouse, and the Grand Palace is 1.8 km away. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) stands inside the Grand Palace grounds, so the two sites can be seen in one visit. Wat Arun, on the far bank of the Chao Phraya, is 2.5 km away and lies across the river. Closer to the water, Phra Sumen Fort is an octagonal riverside fort, with Santichaiprakan Park beside it, and the Sam Yot MRT station is also nearby for the metro.

Don Mueang International Airport is 20.1 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 28.2 km away. A good day here could begin at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, cross the river to Wat Arun, and end with a walk back along Khao San Road for dinner and the street life.
