Amaze seaview Villa at Chaweng sits in this part of the island, close to the airport and to Choeng Mon Beach, so the sea and the island's main beaches are never far away. The busy strip of Chaweng is a little further on, and its nightlife is livelier than the quiet streets around the villa. Bo Phut itself is a good place for a slow walk among its old buildings and quiet lanes.

Choeng Mon Beach, 1.1 km away, is a sandy stretch beside a village of the same name. Samui Airport is close to the villa, so the island's flights are easy to reach from here. Big Buddha, a temple with a large Buddha statue, is one of the best-known landmarks nearby.

A good day could start on Choeng Mon Beach and move on to Chaweng Yai Beach, 3.1 km away, where resorts and restaurants line the sand. In the evening, Fisherman's Village, 4.8 km away, is a pleasant place for a walk. For a longer excursion, Na Muang Waterfall, 13.1 km away, makes a good day trip into the island's interior.
