Amantra homestay & village

Every room at Amantra homestay & village overlooks the garden and has a private bathroom with a bathtub, an adapted bath, a roll-in shower and accessible vanities. Each room also has bathrobes, a hair dryer, an electric kettle and toiletries, and the rooms measure between 35 and 100 m².

Bed set-ups include king, queen and single beds, and capacity runs from two to six guests. A 100 m² room has two bathrooms. Rooms can also have a seating area, a refrigerator, a microwave, a mini bar and a balcony or terrace. Wi-Fi is free in all rooms, and parking on site is free as well.

Amantra homestay & village is in Bangbaimai, within Mueang district of Surat Thani, a town on the Tapee River in southern Thailand. Surat Thani is a common gateway to the islands of Ko Samui, Ko Phangan and Ko Tao, so many travellers pass through the town on the way to the coast. Life here runs at a local pace, centred on its temples, markets and streets rather than on beach-resort crowds.

Koh Lamphu Public Park is 3.4 km away, a public park with open green space for a walk. The Surat Thani Night Market, 3.6 km from the property, is the place to go in the evening for food stalls and local goods. Also nearby are the Tapee River Viewpoint over the water, Wat Phothawas, a Buddhist temple, and the Surat Thani City Pillar Shrine, which houses the city's guardian pillar.

Surat Thani Airport is 17.1 km away and the Surat Thani Railway Station is 9.6 km away, so a taxi or a private car is the simplest way to reach the property from either. A good day could begin with a visit to Wat Phothawas and the City Pillar Shrine, continue with a stroll through Koh Lamphu Public Park, and end at the night market in the evening.
