Adamaz House

The rooms at Adamaz House vary in size and layout. Some have a king, queen or double bed, others have two single beds or bunk beds, and several rooms have a city view. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and many rooms are fitted with air conditioning.

Guests travelling in a larger group can book the Quadruple Room with Bunk Beds, which sleeps up to four, or the Deluxe Triple Room, which sleeps up to three. The Roof Top Suite, the Superior Double Room and the Standard Twin Room have a separate shower and bathtub, and the Roof Top Suite measures 20 m² with a king bed.

The guesthouse has 24-hour security and business facilities, and a badminton court is on site. Guests can communicate in English, Hindi, Malay and Thai, and telephones are available in the property.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in the public areas, and guests can also use the internet in the shared spaces. Safety deposit boxes are available, and some rooms have free wired internet and a TV with cable channels.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a refrigerator, a desk, a clothes rack, ironing facilities, linens, toiletries and a hair dryer. Some rooms also have a balcony or terrace, a window and wooden flooring, and some have a telephone and a flat-screen TV.

Adamaz House is on Phra Sumen Road in Banglamphu, a historic quarter of Bangkok's old town in the Phra Nakhon district. The streets nearby are lined with small shops, including tailors and clothing stores, and the area draws travellers who want to be close to the older temples and palaces of the city. Santichaiprakan Park, a small green space in the old town, is close by. Central shopping centres such as Siam Paragon are further away.

Khao San Road, a lively street well known to travellers, is 400 m away. The Grand Palace is 1.5 km away, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) next to it, and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn on the bank of the Chao Phraya, is 2.2 km away. Phra Sumen Fort, with its ferry terminal, is also close to the guesthouse. Wang Burapha and Sam Yot MRT Station are the closest stations.

A day here could start at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, continue to Wat Arun on the river, and end with an afternoon at the Bangkok National Museum, 700 m from the guesthouse. The museum holds a large collection of Thai art, and the route stays within the old town.
