A One Inn

The rooms at A One Inn sleep between one and four guests, with single beds, double beds or a king bed depending on the room. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and several rooms have a city view and air conditioning.

A One Inn is on a side street in this area, with the National Stadium BTS Station 200 m away, so the rest of the city is easy to reach by Skytrain without relying on a taxi. Siam is also one of the best-connected parts of the city by public transport.

The Jim Thompson House, 250 m away, is a museum in the former home of the American silk entrepreneur who made Thai silk famous abroad. Nearby, the Ban Krua silk area and the Sapan Hua Chang pier give a glimpse of older Bangkok. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, the riverside temples, are about 4 km away by taxi or by boat on the Chao Phraya.

A good day starts at Jim Thompson House, then a stroll through the Siam shopping streets and an afternoon by boat to the riverside temples. On weekends, the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 6.1 km away, is worth the trip across the city. Once you have seen the temples, you can return to the Siam area for dinner, which is easy with the Skytrain close by.
