4J Lodge

The rooms at 4J Lodge measure between 12 and 24 m² and range from standard and deluxe rooms to a suite and family rooms with bunk beds. The family room with bathroom and the Standard Queen Room have a street view, and the family rooms sleep up to six and five guests.

The Deluxe Double Room and the Suite both measure 16 m² and sleep up to three guests, each with a private bathroom, air conditioning and a seating area. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and pets are allowed. Khaosan Road is 650 m away, so the rooms are close to the bars and street-food stalls that fill the area in the evening.

There is a garden, a shuttle service and an airport transfer, and tours are offered. Ticket services and luggage storage are available, and private check-in and check-out are offered.

4J Lodge sits in the Khaosan area of Bangkok, where the old city's temples, palaces and riverside piers are close together. Khaosan Road, a lively street lined with guesthouses, bars and street-food stalls, is the neighbourhood's best-known landmark, and the area stays busy well into the evening. The Chao Phraya river runs nearby, with ferry piers that serve the riverside temples, and the Sam Yot MRT station is also close by for trips across the city.

Khaosan Road is 650 m from the property, and the Grand Palace is about 1.8 km away. Inside the palace complex stands the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, one of the most revered temples in Thailand. Wat Arun, on the western bank of the Chao Phraya, is about 2.5 km away, and Wat Bowonniwet, a royal temple, is 300 m away.

A day here can start at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, then continue by boat along the Chao Phraya to Wat Arun. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, 6.5 km away, is a longer trip across the city and is worth a separate day. Don Mueang is the closer of the two airports, while Suvarnabhumi lies further out, so the airport choice depends on your flight.
