Yuwadee Resort

The rooms at Yuwadee Resort range from 28 m² bungalows to a 125 m² four-bedroom villa, and most of them look out over the garden. Air conditioning, flat-screen TVs and private bathrooms are found in most of the rooms, and the bungalows and villas often have a private entrance. Bungalows measure from 28 m², and the villas bring space for larger groups.

Chalong Bay Rum Distillery is one of the local sights near the resort. For a day in town, Phuket Town, the island's main centre, has shops, markets and local food.

Wat Chalong, one of Phuket's most revered Buddhist temples, is 2.6 km away, and Chalong Beach is 4.3 km. The Big Buddha, a white statue on a hilltop, is 5.7 km from the resort. Patong Beach, the island's best-known beach resort area, is 8.7 km away, and Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 29.7 km away. Phuket Botanic Garden, with its wide collection of tropical plants, is also close by.

A good plan could start with a morning at Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, then a swim or a rest at the resort's pools in the afternoon. Chalong Beach suits a shorter visit, while Karon and Kata beaches, with their cafés and shops, make a longer day out.
