Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hilltop temple with a long staircase to the top, is one of the sights of the Krabi area. Krabi International Airport is 26 km away, so the last stretch from the airport is by road.

A good day could start with a swim at Klong Muang Beach, then continue by boat to Railay or to nearby islands such as Poda and Tup, which are reached from the piers along the coast. Phra Nang Cave is on Railay, so the same boat trip can take in both. During the rainy season, rough seas can stop boat trips for a day.
