Klong Muang is a quieter stretch of the Andaman coast beside Ao Nang, in Krabi province, with a long sandy beach lined by small resorts and villas. Daily life here centres on small shops and cafés behind the sand. At Sea Condo @ 2-bedroom B 402 is 220 m from the beach, and the busier streets of Ao Nang lie nearby.

The area is a good starting point for boat trips. Railay Beach, with its limestone cliffs and access by longtail boat from Ao Nang, is 10.3 km away, and Phra Nang Cave lies on the same peninsula. Poda Island is also reached by boat and has its own beach, and the Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hillside temple complex built around a cave, is 20.5 km away. The Hong Islands lie further offshore and are reached by longer boat trips.

A good day could start with a swim at Klong Muang Beach, continue with a visit to the Sunday and Tuesday Market in the afternoon, and end with dinner in Ao Nang. Krabi International Airport is 25.7 km away for arrivals by air. Boat trips to the islands can be called off when the sea is rough in the rainy months.
