Wat Bo Phut, a Buddhist temple in the village, and the Bophut Food Market, with local food stalls, are close by too. For a trip further afield, the Big Buddha is 5 km from the resort, and it is a large temple complex with a seated Buddha statue that is one of the best known sights on the island.

A day here can start at the Sitting Buddha Viewpoint, then move on to the walking street at Fisherman's Village and the Wat Bo Phut temple, and end on the sand at Haad Bophut. Samui Airport is 4.3 km from the resort, so the airport transfer covers the shortest route to the village, and car hire is available on site for those who want to explore the rest of the island.
