Jasmine and Tea House

Jasmine and Tea House has villas of several sizes. Two beach villas of 58 m² each have an ocean view, a private bathroom and a private pool, and a two-bedroom villa of 115 m² has a sea view, two bathrooms and air conditioning. A room for up to three guests, assigned on arrival, completes the choice.

The two 58 m² villas include bathrobes, a hair dryer, towels and toiletries, and the two-bedroom villa has a dining table and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Its bathroom has a shower and slippers.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and a hot spring bath, along with a private beach, a garden and a terrace. Guests can go canoeing, diving, snorkelling or fishing, and tours can be arranged.

Food and drink come from the restaurants, the bar and room service, and barbecue facilities are available. There is a laundry service, daily housekeeping is provided, and bicycle rental and an airport transfer are also offered.

Free WiFi covers all rooms, with internet services in public areas, and the rooms can have air conditioning, a mini bar, a refrigerator and a private pool. Some rooms also have wired internet access, so guests can choose a cable connection as well as wireless.

The resort is in the Mae Nam area of Koh Samui, on Baan Tai Beach, where the closest sand is the resort's own private beach, 50 m from the property. Mae Nam is a village district on the island's coast, and the sea here is the main draw, with the pier close by. The rest of the island is reachable by road, so a beach stay here does not mean being cut off from the island's main sights.

Mae Nam Pier is 1.8 km away, a ferry pier for boat trips, and Wat Na Phra Lan, a temple, is about the same distance. Fisherman's Village is 7.5 km away, the Big Buddha, a large hilltop statue, is 10.2 km away, and Samui Airport is 11.2 km away. Na Muang Waterfall lies further inland, and it makes a good stop for a day out.

For a day out, the Big Buddha and Wat Plai Laem, a temple with a large Guanyin statue, make a full morning, and the waterfall at Na Muang adds a stop away from the coast. Diving, canoeing and snorkelling are possible from the island's coast, and tours can be arranged. Boat trips can be affected by rough seas during the rainy months.
