Baan Thong Po, a local village, lies close by, and the village streets are the everyday setting for this part of the coast.

Samui Airport is 13.5 km away, and the island is reached by road once you arrive, with taxi and shuttle services, and car hire, available for getting around. Nathon Pier Ko Samui, a ferry pier, is 4.9 km away, so arrivals by boat and onward trips on the island are both easy to plan from the resort. Big Buddha, one of the island's best-known sights, is 12.8 km away, and Na Muang Waterfall lies inland at 12.9 km, a different setting from the shoreline.

A good day could start on Ban Po Beach, then move on to Big Buddha and to Na Muang Waterfall in the island's interior. Back at the resort, the outdoor swimming pool, the hot tub and the garden offer a quiet place to end the day, and the restaurant and bar are on site for the evening.
