White House Beach Resort and Spa

White House Beach Resort and Spa has garden-view rooms, executive rooms, deluxe rooms and suites, and several of them measure 40 m². Rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, an in-room safe, a minibar, a coffee or tea maker and a hair dryer, and some have a bathtub or a separate shower and bathtub.

Beds include single, double, queen and sofa beds, and several rooms sleep up to four guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and several rooms have satellite or cable channels and on-demand movies.

Choeng Mon is a village on the coast of Koh Samui, close to Bophut, where small beaches, temples and fishing piers sit within a few kilometres of each other. The resort is a short walk from the beach, so the sea is an easy part of the daily routine for guests who arrive without a car.

Wat Plai Laem, a temple complex with a large Guanyin statue, is 1.6 km from the resort, and the Big Buddha, a large seated Buddha on a hilltop, is 2.3 km away. Bangrak has a fish market by the water, and the Night Market is 4.8 km away. Chaweng Noi Beach, 7.2 km away, is a longer journey for a beach day, and Samui Airport is 3.2 km away.

A day out could start with the walk to Wat Plai Laem and the beach, continue to the Big Buddha, and end back at the resort for a swim in the pool. For a different stretch of coast, Chaweng Noi Beach makes a fuller day trip for guests who want to see more of the island. Beach time and temple visits fit comfortably into one day, and the pool is there for the late afternoon, after the sightseeing has finished.
