Whalecome Aonang Resort

The rooms at Whalecome Aonang Resort range from twin and double rooms to family rooms, with capacities from two to seven guests. Some rooms have a garden view and others a pool view, and several rooms have a balcony. Rooms can have air conditioning, an in-room safe and a refrigerator.

Bed arrangements include a king bed, a pair of single beds, and a queen bed with a king bed in the family room. Several rooms have a separate shower or bathtub, and the rooms with a private bathroom come with toiletries, towels and a hair dryer. Whalecome Aonang Resort is set in the village area, and Ao Nang Beach is 300 m away. Along the main road there are street-food stalls and souvenir shops, and the town works well as a base for travellers who want to explore the limestone coast around Krabi.

Ao Nang has longtail boats for trips to nearby islands and beaches. Ao Nang Beach Pier is 350 m from the resort, and Railay Beach, a peninsula reached only by boat, is 2.4 km away. The Ao-Nang Landmark Night Market, 1.7 km away, is open in the evening, so the town stays busy after sunset and offers plenty of places to eat and shop before or after a day on the water.

A day out can start on the pier with a longtail boat to Railay or to nearby islands such as Poda Island and Tup Island, and end back in Ao Nang in the evening. Phai Plong Beach, 1.1 km away, is another stretch of sand along this coast, good for a walk or a swim away from the main beach crowds.
