Rayavadee Hotel

Rooms at Rayavadee Hotel are villas and pavilions set in the resort's gardens, with sleeping capacities from three to ten guests. Some have a garden view, several have a bathtub, and a few have a private bathroom with bathrobes provided. Rooms can also have a refrigerator, a mini bar, a desk and a closet.

Some rooms have a separate living room and an additional toilet, and in several there is a choice of bed set-ups, so the layout depends on the villa or pavilion you book. Toiletries and towels are provided in many rooms, and some have air conditioning and an in-room safe.

Guests can use the outdoor swimming pool, the spa with sauna and massage, the fitness facilities and the on-site golf course. A tennis court and non-motorised water sports are also available, and tours can be arranged.

Dining covers à la carte and buffet breakfast, a restaurant, a bar, 24-hour room service and food delivery. There is a 24-hour front desk, currency exchange, luggage storage, a concierge, laundry and ironing service and dry cleaning.

Railay is a limestone peninsula on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, reached only by boat from the mainland. Its beaches are framed by limestone cliffs, and the peninsula is known for rock climbing and caves, with a quieter pace than the beach town of Ao Nang across the water. It is a place for swimming, climbing and walks rather than for town life.

Ao Phra Nang beach is 200 m from the hotel, and Phra Nang Cave is a short walk away. Tufa Cave lies further along the coast, and Ton Sai Beach is also close, with its own pier. Krabi International Airport is 18.6 km away on the mainland, so the trip from the airport ends with a boat ride to the hotel's pier, Nong Nuch pier.

Ao Nang, across the water, has a night market and a weekend market for an evening out, and its main beach, Ao Nang Beach, lies 2.6 km from the hotel. A day here can combine a walk along Phra Nang beach with a rock-climbing session at one of the climbing points on the peninsula, followed by a visit to Mountain Buddha Temple, a hilltop temple with a large Buddha statue near Ao Nang.
