Wazzah resort bungalows

The rooms at Wazzah resort bungalows open onto a pool view, a garden view or, in some rooms, a sea or ocean view. Capacity runs from two guests in the deluxe double rooms to five guests in the guest room with a garden view, so couples and small groups can both stay.

The deluxe double rooms measure 25 m², and the double room with a pool view measures 20 m². Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the resort's outdoor swimming pool and garden are among its main features.

The outdoor swimming pool is joined by a children's swimming pool, and the resort has a bar, a poolside bar and a coffee shop, with room service also available. Massage is offered, and the grounds include a garden.

Guests can arrange tours, and the resort also offers car hire, a concierge, luggage storage, lockers and safety deposit boxes, plus an airport transfer. Non-motorised water sports, diving and fishing are available, and there is a golf course within 3 km as well as another within 3 km.

Mae Nam is a quiet coastal village on Koh Samui, in Surat Thani province. Maenam Beach is 1.2 km from the resort, and a health clinic, a post office and a convenience store are close at hand, so everyday needs are easy to cover. Koh Samui is reached by air or by sea, and ferry piers on the island's coast link it with nearby islands.

Samui Airport is 6.4 km away, and several of the island's best-known sights lie nearby. Big Buddha, a large seated statue in Bophut, is 6 km from the resort, and the Fisherman's Village, with its lanes of shops and restaurants, is 2.8 km away. The Na Muang Waterfall lies 10.2 km inland from the coast.

A day could begin on Maenam Beach, continue to Big Buddha and the temples nearby, and end with a walk through the Fisherman's Village. Lamai Beach and Chaweng Noi Beach are also on Koh Samui, and the Hin Ta and Hin Yai rock formations, known as the Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks, are farther afield. The Na Muang Waterfall makes a separate trip inland, and anyone flying in can reach the resort from Samui Airport, which is on the island itself.
