Ban Tai is a village on Ko Pha-ngan, an island in the Gulf of Thailand. Its beach, Haad Baan Tai, is the closest stretch of sand to the resort, 450 m away, and the village's Night Market is close by.
Buddhist pagodas such as Wat Nai and Wat Khao Tham are close by, and the Phangan Elephant Sanctuary is 3.8 km away, so a day can combine temples with a visit to the elephants.
