Long Beach is 300 m away and Haad Yao beach 350 m, while Salad Beach, 1.2 km off, offers a longer stretch of sand. Ao Chaloklum Bay, 4 km away, is a further bay worth a visit. Many of the sights are a short ride apart, so a scooter or songthaew is the easiest way to move about the island. Samui Airport is 27.1 km away on Ko Samui, so the last stretch of a journey from there is by boat to Ko Pha-ngan.

A good day starts on Haad Yao beach and continues with a walk to the pagoda near Baan Sri Thanu, followed by a ride to the Wang Sai waterfall further inland. In the evening, the local food market is a simple way to eat well after a day of sightseeing, and the villa's kitchen makes it easy to eat in if you prefer.
