Villa Aphatcha

Villa Aphatcha is rented as one private house, a villa of 330 m² with a private pool and a mountain view. It sleeps up to ten guests across five bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Guests have a choice of bed set-ups, and the house comes with a flat-screen TV, cable channels, a hair dryer, toiletries, towels, cleaning products and a walk-in shower.

Free parking is available, and the villa has a kitchen with coffee or tea facilities, a washer and an iron. Daily housekeeping is provided, and air conditioning, a fan and a heater are provided, along with linens, towels, toiletries and a hair dryer.

The villa also has a private entrance, a desk with workspace, a closet and cable TV. An iron is available for guests, and English, French and Thai are spoken. The villa is rented as a whole, so the garden and the pool are shared only by the group that books it.

Baan Nai Suan is a village on Ko Pha-ngan, a short way from Thong Sala, the island's main town and ferry port. Ko Pha-ngan is a hilly island of forest, waterfalls and small bays, and this part of it suits guests who prefer a quieter base to the busy beach strips, with the town and its shops nearby. The villa sits in the village rather than on the beach, and the nearest beach is some distance off.

Within a few kilometres you will find Wat Pra Yai, a Buddhist temple 1.1 km from the villa, and Phaeng Waterfall, 1.5 km away. The Dom Sila Viewpoint, 1.7 km away, is a lookout on the island, and the Ko Pha-ngan Pier, 3.3 km away, is where the boats to the neighbouring islands and the mainland leave from. Samui Airport lies across the water on Ko Samui, so arriving by air means a boat crossing at the end of the journey.

For a day out, combine the waterfall with the temple and the viewpoint, then return to the villa for the evening by the pool. Ferries are the way on and off Ko Pha-ngan, so check the pier and plan the crossing before the day starts. The garden around the house is another place to spend an afternoon between trips.
