Villa Amrita

Guests can choose between the Private Villa, which has its own private entrance and air conditioning, and Villa - Beach Front, which has a sea view and a whirlpool bathtub. Both sleep up to 12 guests, and both come with a choice of bed set-ups.

Rooms can also include a full kitchen, a washing machine, a desk, complimentary tea and free instant coffee, along with a hair dryer and toiletries. Linens and ironing facilities are also available.

Villa Amrita is in the Wok Tum area of Ko Pha-ngan, on the coast with Hin Kong Beach a very short walk from the villa. The surroundings combine beaches with village life, and the Srithanu area nearby has several yoga and wellness centres. The setting suits guests who want to swim, spend time in a garden and explore the island at an unhurried pace.

Wat Sri Thanu, a village temple with a pagoda, is about 650 m away, and the Sunset Low Tide Viewpoint is roughly 1 km off, a coastal lookout with sunset views. For a longer outing, Ao Chaloklum Bay is 5.3 km away and Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, a long beach, is 9.6 km away. Air arrivals usually fly into Samui, across the water from Ko Pha-ngan, so the last stretch of the journey is by boat.

A good day here starts with a swim at Hin Kong Beach, followed by a visit to Wat Sri Thanu in the afternoon and a walk to the viewpoint at sunset. Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach and Ao Chaloklum Bay make a day trip for guests who want to see more of the island. The viewpoint, the temple and the bay can be combined in a single day.
