View Son Resort

The rooms at View Son Resort include bungalows with garden views, some with air conditioning and a balcony or terrace, and a superior room with a king bed and a balcony overlooking the garden.

The fan bungalow measures 21 m² and has a choice of single or double beds for up to two guests. The air-conditioned bungalow measures 22 m² with a king bed. The superior room measures 25 m² and also has a king bed. Rooms can have a refrigerator, a TV and a shower, and one room type sleeps up to three guests.

The grounds of View Son Resort include a garden and a playground, and the hotel offers a restaurant, BBQ facilities and room service. A 24-hour front desk, tours, ticket services and a concierge desk are part of the offer, and there is also an airport transfer and a shuttle service.

Guests can use luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, laundry service, dry cleaning and daily housekeeping, and a convenience store is available. Internet access is available, including in public areas. Free parking is available on site, and pets are allowed, with charges that may apply. Daily housekeeping is part of the service, and the front desk is open 24 hours.

Ao Nang is the beach resort area of Krabi, on a curving bay on the Andaman coast of southern Thailand. A strip of guesthouses, tour offices, shops and restaurants faces the water, and in the evening the streets fill with food stalls as the night market opens. Beach time and shopping sit close together here, rather than in a quiet village, and the area is lively well into the evening.

Noppharat Thara Beach is 50 m from View Son Resort, and Ao Nang Beach, the main stretch of the bay, is 650 m away. Railay Beach, 3.8 km away, has limestone cliffs and is usually reached by longtail boat from the pier at Ao Nang Beach, and Phra Nang Cave, on the same peninsula, is one of the best-known sights there. Krabi International Airport is about 19.5 km away, so the coast is easy to reach by road from the airport, and the night market is the easiest place to eat after a day on the water.

A day could start on Noppharat Thara Beach, continue with a longtail boat to Railay, and end back at the night market in Ao Nang. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hilltop temple about 15.3 km inland, is an option for a half-day, with views over the surrounding hills.
