Vannee Golden Sands Beachfront Resort

The rooms at Vannee Golden Sands Beachfront Resort range from villas with garden or courtyard views to a suite with a sea view and rooms with a partial sea view. Many have a bathtub, and bathrobes, towels and toiletries are provided in several rooms, along with hair dryers and electric kettles. Several rooms have a private bathroom with a shower.

Several rooms have air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, and some have a mini bar. Some are set up with two single beds, others with a king or a double bed. The Suite with Sea View, at 53 m², sleeps up to four guests, and the resort's indoor and outdoor pools, spa and sauna are part of the stay as well.

Guests can use an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool, with a children's swimming pool for younger guests, and the resort adds a fitness center, a spa, a sauna and massage. There is a private beach, and guests can also go canoeing, diving or snorkelling.

For eating and drinking there are restaurants, a coffee shop, a snack bar, a poolside bar, BBQ facilities and room service, and buffet and continental breakfast are offered. The front desk is open 24 hours, and luggage storage, laundry and ironing service, and daily housekeeping are also offered.

Bicycles, car hire, a shuttle service and tours are offered, and free parking on site is available. Kids facilities, a kids club and a kids meal are also offered.

Haad Rin is a lively beach village at the southern tip of Ko Pha-ngan, best known for the Full Moon Party held on its sands. Here the beach life, the village streets and the pier for boats are close together, and the resort sits a short distance from all of them, so guests can step out into the island's busiest corner whenever they like.

Haad Rin Nai beach is the main stretch of sand in the village, and Haad Rin Nok is another beach in the area. Haad Yuan, about 2.1 km away, adds a second beach to the day. Samui Airport on Ko Samui is the nearest airport, about 14.4 km away. Ko Pha-ngan has no airport, so the last part of the journey is by boat from Ko Samui, and the Haad Rin Queen pier is in the village itself.

A day can start with a swim at Haad Rin Nai beach, continue with canoeing, diving or snorkelling from the resort, and end with a walk through the village to the Full Moon Party site. For a different view of the coast, Haad Yuan is worth the trip, and the resort's indoor and outdoor pools, spa and sauna make a good place to rest between the beaches.
